Peanut Butter Jelly Time: Fruity Twist

Peanut butter and sliced fruit (avoiding the jelly) is an excellent choice for a quick snack at any time of day.


Ingredients:

Peanut butter, cashew butter, or other nut butter

Sliced strawberries, blueberries, and/or bananas

Firm multigrain bread

Two bread slices on a white plate, both with creamy peanut butter, and one topped with fresh sliced strawberries, creating a rustic snack.
Use open-face sandwiches for lower carbs.(only one slice of bread)

Directions:

Apply a light layer of peanut butter on each slice of bread.

Place fruit on one slice, then use the other slice to cover it.
